About Sabre

Sabre Insurance Group plc, based in Dorking, Surrey, is a premium-listed specialist motor insurer with a diversified, multi-channel distribution strategy, selling policies through a broad broker network and Direct Brands including Go Girl, Insure 2 Drive and Sabre Direct.

Established in 1982, Sabre has grown into a focused, high-margin underwriting business specialising in Private Car, Van, Taxi and Motorcycle insurance. In December 2017, Sabre Insurance Group plc was admitted for trading on the London Stock Exchange.

In December 2024, Sabre launched Ambition 2030, targeting profit of at least £80 million by the 2030 financial year. These plans are driven by disciplined growth in core motor, expansion of motorcycle offerings, and continued focus on controlled expenditure—staying true to Sabre’s DNA of high-margin underwriting.

At Sabre Insurance, we combine technical excellence with a down-to-earth, collaborative culture. We are a specialist insurer where expertise matters, decisions are evidence-led, and people are trusted to take ownership of their work.

About the Actuarial Team

Our actuarial team is a small, high-performing group of experts who play a central role in shaping the direction of the business. Recognised as trusted leaders across Sabre, the team not only leads pricing and reserving activity but also provides analytical leadership, strategic insight and expert judgement. We work closely with the Executive Team and partner with departments across the organisation, regularly influencing areas beyond pricing — including Claims, Counter Fraud, and Policy Operations.

The team operates within a deliberately flat structure, composed of experienced individual contributors, each with over 15 years of experience across major insurers in the Personal Lines market, many of whom have previously led teams. Our working culture is hands-on: we focus on delivering the analysis ourselves rather than managing junior analysts, and we place strong emphasis on peer review, collaboration and sharing ideas to deliver the best possible solutions.

We foster a culture of trust and accountability, empowering team members to take ownership of their work while providing the support needed to succeed. Every team member is encouraged to deliver high-quality analysis, manage risk proactively and continuously improve the way we operate.

About the Role

At Sabre, actuarial insight sits at the heart of our pricing, performance and strategic decision‑making. As a Pricing Analytics Lead, you will have a hands-on technical role with significant influence over pricing strategy, supporting the long‑term profitability and sustainability of the business.

Working closely with the Chief Actuary and the wider pricing team, you will apply advanced analytical techniques to complex, real-world insurance challenges in a fast-moving, data-driven environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape how pricing analytics is delivered across the business, with close exposure to executive decision-making and strategic initiatives under Ambition 2030.
